Experts have discovered two record-breaking trees at a Welsh beauty spot.
The 39-metre high Japanese red cedar and 31-metre high false cypress were discovered as part of a survey carried out by Dr Owen Johnson of the Tree Register of the British Isles.
It identified both as 'Champion Trees' - being much taller than their nearest rivals.
Horticulturalists at the National Trust's Colby Woodland Garden, near Amroth in Pembrokeshire, described the findings as a 'coup'.
